Pacific Medical Centers Opens Its Ninth Location

Seattle- - Pacific Medical Centers opened the doors to its new Federal Way clinic which will begin seeing patients October 8th. An open house will be held Saturday, October 20th from 11:00 am- 1:00 p.m. to enable South King County residents to meet the physicians and learn about services available to them at the state of the art Federal Way clinic.

As the only designated TRICARE prime provider for the Uniformed Services Family Health Plan (US Family Health Plan) on the West Coast, Pacific Medical Centers’ is responding to the needs of their patients, many of whom are active-duty family members and retired military personnel and their families.

"The Federal Way location was chosen to increase our services to families in the south sound," said Kate Ryan, vice president, US Family Health Plan at Pacific Medical Centers. "Also, many of our military families are located in the south sound therefore making it convenient for those patients residing on or near military bases." The Federal Way clinic, located within the Virginia Mason Clinic at 33501 1st Way S, ensures patients have access to a range of high-quality health care services.

The Federal Way clinic also offers relief to the over-burdened military treatment facilities by providing military beneficiaries with another option for high-quality care, including access to same day primary care. "Our hope is that by providing an additional local option for military beneficiaries, we will alleviate the existing strain and ensure all beneficiaries can receive the care they need, when they need it," said Ryan.

The Clinic offers pharmacy, optical, radiology and laboratory services conveniently under the same roof as the primary care physicians.
