PacMed Among Washington’s 100 Best Companies to Work For
For the second year, PacMed has been selected as one of Washington’s 100 Best Companies to Work For, in an annual ranking compiled by Seattle Business magazine.
“We are extremely honored and proud to be a part of the Top 100 Companies to Work For again this year,” said Harvey Smith, president and CEO. “PacMed’s employees continue to be our biggest strength, and they have collectively created a dream and vision for PacMed where doing your very best work and living your best life go hand in hand.”
Here's what PacMed team members say:
PacMed ranked second in the non-profit category, compared to third place last year. PacMed’s employees collectively agreed that the organization offers an inspiring workplace with a strong patient-focused team environment and ample career-building opportunities. In addition, PacMed employees appreciate the support for additional education as an opportunity for career growth. PacMed’s mission of service to the community is important to its employees and uniquely defines the organization as a whole.
Pacific Medical Centers’ inclusion as a Best Company to Work For is evidence of the company’s commitment to develop its human resources through improved communications, a cohesive culture and strong leadership, values that are core to developing a successful enterprise, says Leslie Helm, editor of Seattle Business magazine.
The results of the competition were based on surveys of employees who filled in extensive questionnaires about their employer based on a number of criteria including leadership, communication, benefits, opportunities for growth, and training. Companies that scored among the top of their categories were further vetted by a panel of judges to determine the final scores.
