PacMed is the South Lake Union Chamber’s Non-Profit of the Year

The South Lake Union Chamber of Commerce members have voted Pacific Medical Centers their Non-Profit of the Year! This award is given to the non-profit member who offers “outstanding benefits and contributions to the community, providing a much needed service with measurable outcomes.” Previous winners have included the Center for Wooden Boats, the Cascade People's Center and Morningside Academy. PacMed is a proud member of the South Lake Union Chamber of Commerce.

The South Lake Union Chamber of Commerce comprises over 150 companies in the fast-growing South Lake Union area. Local businesses from Amazon to Zipcar are members, including Fred Hutchinson Research Center, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, PATH, Antioch University and many more.

The Living Well Alliance™ program, a partnership of PacMed, Premera Blue Cross, and the American Diabetes Association dedicated to diabetes prevention and education, has been very active in the South Lake Union community and has done free diabetes and health screenings for several businesses and participated in chamber events.

PacMed was officially recognized by the Chamber at a breakfast event in November.

Living Well Alliance is a trademark of Pacific Medical Centers.
