Our Diabetes Nutrition class includes information about:

  • Nutrition Fact labels on foods
  • Meals away from home

Our Meal Planning/Virtual Grocery Store Tour (VGST) class includes information about:

  • Food groups, standard portion sizes and types of carbohydrates
  • Creating a one-week meal plan using your personal nutrition goals
  • Making healthy shopping choices, with a virtual grocery store tour

These classes are open to anyone with diabetes and their family, friends or coworkers.

Please verify with your health insurance company that these classes are a covered service. Otherwise, you will be considered self-pay. The cost for the Living with Diabetes class is $222. For Diabetes Nutrition and Meal Planning, the cost is $148 for each class. If this is a non-covered service and you pay in full at the time of check-in, you will receive a 30% discount. PacMed accepts cash, Visa, MasterCard and Discover.
