US Family Health Plan (USFHP) is a Permanent Part of the Military Health System
US Family Health Plan is the only TRICARE Prime program that offers benefits to active duty family members and all military retirees and their eligible family members, including those 65 years of age and over, regardless of whether or not they participate in Medicare Part B.
USFHP at Pacific Medical Centers gives you first-class, quality civilian health services with same-day primary care appointments and specialty referrals. It’s easy to enroll, and there are no strings attached.
If you’re already enrolled in TRICARE Prime, you can switch to USFHP by simply filling out an application. Your coverage switches over the day we receive your application. If you’re new to TRICARE Prime or if you have TRICARE for Life, your coverage starts the first day of the month if we receive your application and any applicable enrollment fees by the 20th day of the prior month.
