Prepare for Your Visit

Please bring your current contact lens box or prescription and your most current pair of glasses. This will help us assess if your prescription is stable.

Contact Lens Patients:

Wearing contact lenses for many years can alter the natural shape of your cornea. It is important to obtain precise measurements during your vision-correction screening. If you currently wear contact lenses, please stop wearing them for two weeks before your visit. This will help ensure quality measurements of your eyes.

If you use extended-wear, toric, gas-permeable or hard contact lenses, you may need to stop wearing your lenses for a longer period before the exam. However, during your preliminary screening, we can determine if you are a good candidate.
