Preparing for your Visit

WHAT TO BRING

Bring the following items to make the most of your time with the doctor:

  • ID and insurance cards
  • Your co-pay
  • Any X-rays and labs from outside the PacMed/Swedish/Providence network
  • A list of your questions and symptoms.

Please plan to arrive 20 minutes early to park and check in. Read more details on how to prepare for your visit.

CHECK YOUR COVERAGE

To avoid financial surprises, we recommend calling your insurance before your visit to check your coverage for:

  • Pacific Medical Centers
  • The provider you’re seeing
  • The services or procedures you are coming in for.

It’s good to ask your insurance whether our clinic and provider are in network and what your financial responsibility might be.

Renton Testimonials

“I was treated so well. I would like to thank the staff and Mary Ann (Medical Assistant) for all the quickness getting me stable…The staff here is very great!”

“It is always a grand experience to see Dr. Reddy. Thank you Dr. Reddy and all who work at PacMed…thank you for your politeness, cheerfulness and efficiency.”

Dr. Yuen has ALWAYS spent enough time with me. We are able to discuss my presenting issues, ongoing concerns, and how to address these. This is one of the many reasons that he is the best doctor I have ever seen as a patient. He has been my physician for nearly 7 years.”

“I see two providers with regularity, Dr. Maddox and Dr. Yuen. I trust and respect both of these physicians literally with my life. Both consistently give me their full attention when I have an appointment, both explain fully my treatment, and both remember what is important to me.”

Karen Gold and Dr. Shalini Nair, PacMed Renton clinic: “Being with PacMed clinics makes my medical needs very convenient. I never have a problem getting an appointment to see any doctor for any specialty…I have to be able to tackle my personal health at any time as quickly as possible, and that is what PacMed helps me to do!”

Gail Wedig and Dr. Sonja Maddox, PacMed Renton clinic: “The value of “medical home” means long term coverage, both emotionally and to know that everything is in one place…having that piece of mind knowing that your health care needs are fully addressed, helps you live a healthier life.”

Kristine Haydon and Dr. Erin Edwards, PacMed Renton clinic: “I have been a patient of Dr. Erin Edwards for sixteen years now. I value our relationship so much, that when she moved down to the Renton PacMed clinic I followed her despite the fact that it is significantly further from my home…I feel that we are true partners in my health care.”

Peter Hawley is a patient of Dr. Shalini Nair at Pacific Medical Centers’ Renton clinic: Peter has been coming to PacMed since 1996, and always has a positive experience! Watch the video below to learn more about Peter’s relationship with Dr. Nair.
