Mask and Visitor Policies

Your safety is our number one priority at PacMed

Removing mask

Masking Policy:

To prioritize patient and caregiver health, masking guidelines have been re-implemented in alignment with Infection Prevention and local health jurisdiction recommendations. We ask all patients, visitors, and caregivers to wear masks in all patient care areas– this includes front desk/check-in, waiting rooms, exam rooms, elevators, and during direct patient care. Masks will be provided at the main entrance for those that do not have one. We appreciate your partnership as we take these preventative measures to keep one another safe.

Visitor Policy:

Visitors are allowed as long as they have no respiratory viral symptoms.
Visitors that have respiratory viral symptoms will be asked to not enter or wait in the car.

PacMed also offers virtual visits.

Additional Safety Measures:

We’ve put these additional safety steps in place to protect your health, and ours, when you’re here with us:

  • eCheck-in through MyChart to reduce your time and exposure at the front desk. You can check in via MyChart, up to four days in advance.
  • Hello Patient can automatically let us know when you arrive, so you only need to do your infectious screening before sitting down. (Add the MyChart app to your phone and enable location services).
  • Sanitizing. We rigorously wipe down our waiting areas, exam rooms and high-touch surfaces in our clinics. You can help by washing your hands or using our hand sanitizer stations located throughout our clinics.
  • Cashless payments. We are no longer accepting cash or checks in our clinics. You can still pay by debit/credit card, through MyChart, or by mailing your check in. (See details.)
